Turnspire Capital Partners Adds Luis Mercader As Director Of Operations And Finance
Private equity firm Turnspire Capital Partners has hired Luis A. Mercader as Director of Operations and Finance.
Turnspire Managing Partner Ilya Koffman said, “We have had the pleasure of getting to know Luis over many years, most recently through his work as an integral member of our investment team for Infinity Engineered Products and then as interim CFO post close. Luis shares our values and our passion for building world-class, industry-leading companies and I am confident that he will be a tremendous addition to the Turnspire team as we scale our franchise.”
Turnspire Senior Advisor Stephen E. Hoey added, “Having helped build operations, finance and compliance functions at several successful private equity firms during my career, I am pleased that Ilya and Abel are taking a similarly systematic approach at Turnspire. Mercader will lead portfolio company onboarding and support the management teams of Turnspire portcos. In addition, he will oversee the build-out of Turnspire’s fund infrastructure and internal processes.
Prior to joining Turnspire, Mercader was a principal consultant with Etonien LLC, where he led carve-outs, post-acquisition integration, and interim CFO engagements. Prior to Etonien, Luis was an Operating Executive at Corinthian Capital, assisting portfolio companies with setting strategic direction and executing performance improvement initiatives, as well as add-on acquisitions.
