U.S. markets saw more turmoil today as the fallout from Silicon Valley Bank’s failure continues to unfold. The Fed has stepped in to help depositors secure their funds from SVB and Signature Bank, and U.S. 2-Year Treasury yields endured the steepest decline since the stock market crash of 1987. Maggie Lake is joined by Daniel Lacalle, chief economist at Tressis, to give us a breakdown of the banking risks and how contagion could spread across the globe.
