PivotalPath Creates Covid-19 Analysis Tool

Hedge fund research and analytics firm PivotalPath has created a tool to map the development of the Covid-19 virus. The tool uses data from Johns Hopkins University to show a variety of data points including mortality rate and recovery rate separated by state, country and region. PivotalPath CEO Jon Caplis says that the genesis of the idea was to provide a free-to-air analysis of the spread of the virus based on trusted data.

“The tool offers the ability to monitor and evaluate the status of the virus around the world and isolate by country/region/time period. With so much confusing and inaccurate information in circulation, we wanted to create a place where you can reference trusted data and remain informed”, says Caplis.
