AlphaWeek's A Leg To Stand On page features news from A Leg To Stand On, a New York-based charity which provides free orthopaedic care to children with untreated limb disabilities in the developing world. To learn more about ALTSO's impact visit www.altso.org/impact.

The Portfolios with Purpose community represents the very best of the finance industry: investors who are charitably engaged, professionally accomplished, and motivated to pay it forward to those just beginning their careers. We are building a platform that brings together our community’s collective wisdom to shape an entire generation of students through education and mentorship.   In January 2021, PwP will continue hosting its annual Investor Challenge where players can compete to raise money on behalf of their favorite charity. Registration for the contest is now open and players can join by clicking here https://www.portfolioswithpurpose.org/new-play.

AlphaWeek’s Help For Children page features news from Help For Children, a global foundation dedicated to fighting child abuse since 1998. Help For Children, formerly known as Hedge Funds Care, prevents and treats child abuse by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors in the Alternative Investment industry.  Since its inception, HFC has invested more than $56 million (USD) in grants to the most effective advocacy, research, education and counselling programs across 10 locations. HFC’s grants have transformed the lives of more than 1.1 million children, making the world a safer place for children. Learn more about HFC’s work, and how you can get involved, at http://www.hfc.org/.
